Aircraft not showing in sim/Installer can't find sim

What to do if the A320 doesn't show in the sim or if the Installer can't find your simulator?

MSFS 2020:

Open up the UserCfg.opt

This can be found at:

If you have the MS Store Version of MSFS 2020: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\usercfg.opt

If you have the Steam Version of MSFS 2020: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\usercfg.opt

Scroll down to the bottom of this file to an entry called "InstalledPackagesPath"

This path tells MSFS the location of your Community and Official folder.

Ensure the file path after "InstalledPackagesPath" is the correct location of where your community and official folder resides. Do not set this to the specific community folder path.

MSFS 2024:

Open up the UserCfg.opt

This can be found at:

If you have the MS Store Version of MSFS 2024: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\usercfg.opt

If you have the Steam Version of MSFS 2024: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\usercfg.opt
