Bitdefender causing installation files to be quarantined, causing CDU or displays to be blacked out.

Following the latest release (v1.5.1.200) of the Fenix application, some of our customers have noticed that certain executable files have been quarantined by Bitdefender.

During install, you may find a Bitdefender message similar to one of the messages below.

A320\deps\FenixCDU.exe is infected with Gen:Variant.MSIL.Krypt.57 and was moved to quarantine.

A320\deps\FenixDisplay.exe is infected with Gen:Variant.MSIL.Krypt.57 and was moved to quarantine.

This is a false positive identification by Bitdefender, something for which we've separately raised a support case.

In the meantime, you will need to restore the file from the Bitdefender quarantine area. This can by completed by following the steps outlined here.

Once restored from quarantine, please restart your pc.
